Cathadhmara, Warehouse, Vertigo.

75 Dunlop Street, Glasgow.

Vertigo

Vertigo. 1991.

This was originally called the Cathadhmara, it was then changed to the Warehouse then Virtigo.

I remember large queues outside this night club, people flocked from all over the city to get into this popular disco. If you didn't get in here you could always try next door in the Mardi Gras. The Warehouse was owned by a gentleman called Michael Modlin.

The Warehouse was run by M.D. Alan Beatie, under manager was Billy Martin. The Diner in the Warehouse was managed by Costis Antinlei.

The Cathadhmara restaurant in Glasgow, which is one of the most popular niteries in the city, are introducing a discotheque night on Mondays from next week.

The man who will be spinning the discs is John McAleer, and the night starts at 8 p.m. and runs through till 11.30 p.m. Admission is 30p and this includes a free supper. You can't get much fairer than that.
